Megan's Meme

Haven't done a meme in awhile, so here goes. Thanks Megan!

1. Pick up the nearest book.
2. Open to page 123.
3. Locate the fifth sentence.
4. Post the next three sentences on your blog and in so doing…
5. Tag five people, and acknowledge who tagged you.

"As he had for months now, Adams struggled to keep a balance with the need, on one hand, for all possible haste, and the need, on the other, to keep from pushing too fast, forcing events too soon. Some things, some people, must not be hurried. Time and timing were both of the essence, now more than ever."

I don't have that many readers, so everyone who reads this is tagged.

"You can replace any of the methods on the ReplacementTarget class using Spring's method replacement functionality. In this example, we show you how to replace the formatMessage(String method) and we also compare the performance of the replaced method with that of the original.
To replace a method, you first need to create an implementation of the MethodReplacer class; this is shown in Listing 5-26"

My books don't go past 10 pages and they only have pop-up pictures in them....

Wait, should I be sharing this??

*For jokey joke purposes only. I don't read romance novels. I read Penthouse Forum instead.

Yeah, I have O'Reilly Perl in a nutshell book here on my desk... that is almost worst than the romance novel.

BTW, the quote would have been from the seek statement.

Memes are silly fun. Hope you are enjoying your weekend!

Since Transact-SQL supports nontabular SELECT statements, you can also use derived tables to construct logical tables from scratch without referencing any other database objects.

You don't really want the next two sentences.

Ginger and Beckeye, I think what the world really needs is a pop-up romance novel. Money to be made!

Kevin - I haven't had to touch Perl in years. That seek statement might have been a good refresher!

JACC - I HAVE done T-SQL. Am happy to not be doing it now. Larry Ellison deserves his dough more than Bill Gates does where databases are concerned.
