Fab Femme Former 5

I think it's time for a list. Name your top 5 female characters from TV shows that are no longer with us. Mine are, in no particular order:

Elaine Benes, Seinfeld - Get OUT!!!! Is any more explanation really necessary?

Miranda Hobbes, Sex and the City - She wasn't the prettiest one (or even second or third), but she had sarcasm to die for and won the Most Improved award hands down for hair and wardrobe through the seasons.

Holly Marshall, Land of the Lost - She had a red-and-white plaid shirt, pigtails, and a pet dinosaur. What more could a little tomboy like me ask for? Watch out, Sleestak!

Valerie Cherish, The Comeback - I never thought anyone could pull off more annoying than Larry David in Curb Your Enthusiasm and still be funny, but Lisa Kudrow nailed it. Such a shame there was only one season.

Claire Fisher, Six Feet Under - I really loved how Claire kept finding wackier and wackier men (though Jeremy Sisto not as Billy? Yes indeedy!) and finally ended up with the seemingly boring but actually great guy at the end o the series.

I'm totally with you on Elaine and Claire. But I'm coming up blank on three more.

Ok, I'm in a rush so I can only offer one. Jessia Alba in Dark Angel. So deadly. So Sexy.

Never got into that show, Cat, but I can totally understand why you had a thing for the Alba.

Excellent topic for a list. Here are my 5 (also in no particular order):

Agent 99, Get Smart- highly intelligent, multi-lingual, stylish, and an expert at hand-to-hand combat. We'll see if Anne Hathaway can do the role justice in the big screen version.

Dorothy Sbornak, The Golden Girls- Although I like all four main characters, Dorothy is my favorite. Her reactions to Sophia's Sicily stories, Blanche's sexual recollections, and Rose's tales of St. Olaf are priceless.

Helen Chappel-Hackett, Wings- cute and spunky as hell. It's a good thing she never ran up against Lou Grant.

Dee Thomas, What's Happening!- The ultimate bratty little sister. She probably put herself through college from all the quarters she collected from Raj for various favors, keeping her silence, etc.

Victoria Barkley, The Big Valley- Played by the great Miss Barbara Stanwyck, she was a matriarch who could be a badass when she had to be. Plus, she looked great in her black leather riding outfit.
